Yes. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 ladder supports crossplay between PC and console players. Always review the specific ladder's eligibility and competition rules before playing.
Yes. Public areas such as games, ladders, leaderboards, teams, and player profiles can be explored without signing in. Creating or joining teams, accepting challenges, and managing your competitive activity require an account.
Navigate to Teams and select the option to create a team. Once created, you can manage your team profile, invite eligible players, and prepare your roster for competition.
Find a team through the Teams directory and submit a join request where available. You can also receive an invitation from a team captain. Membership is subject to roster eligibility and the team's approval process.
Team captains can invite eligible Arena Battles players to join their roster. Invitations require acceptance by the recipient and expire after seven days if not accepted.
Ladders are seasonal competitive rankings organized by game and format. Teams and players compete in matches to establish their records, earn Ladder XP, and improve their standings. Your position reflects your performance under the applicable ladder's ranking rules.
Open Play, select your game and ladder, and browse available challenges. You can accept an eligible open challenge or create your own challenge for opponents to accept.
An open challenge is available for eligible opponents to discover and accept. A direct challenge is sent to a specific player or team, allowing them to respond to the proposed match.
Available formats depend on the selected game and ladder. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 supports Best of 3, Best of 5, and Best of 7 series for new challenges. Each series is won by the first side to secure the required majority of map wins.
When a match requires check-in, eligible participants must confirm their readiness through the match room during the designated check-in window. For team matches requiring individual check-in, each player must check themselves in. Failure to meet check-in requirements may result in a forfeit.
Visit your team profile to view its current ladder standing, Ladder XP, season record, win rate, and additional performance statistics. You can also browse the applicable ladder's rankings.
After a match, the participating sides submit their results through the match room. When the required reports agree, the result can be finalized and the applicable standings updated.
Conflicting reports create a dispute rather than immediately awarding a result. The disputed match can be reviewed using submitted reports and supporting evidence before the result is resolved.
A player or team that fails to appear, check in, or meet participation requirements may receive a forfeit. Applicable grace periods, match circumstances, and competition rules determine the outcome.
The Competition Rules page outlines Arena Battles' general competitive standards. Individual games and ladders may have additional rules covering eligibility, match formats, settings, maps, and prohibited actions. Players are responsible for reviewing the applicable rules before competing.
Submit a support ticket with the relevant match information and any available evidence. Arena Battles prohibits cheating, match manipulation, falsified results, and other conduct that undermines competitive integrity.
Use the available evidence submission options associated with the match or support case. Relevant screenshots, supporting files, and a clear explanation can help staff review the situation. Follow the instructions and file requirements shown in the platform.
Visit the Support section while signed into your account to create a support ticket. Include a clear description of the issue and any relevant match or account information.
Open Support to view your submitted tickets, review replies and updates, and respond when additional information is required. Closed tickets remain available in your support history.
Visit Platform Status to view the reported operational state of Arena Battles systems and any recent incidents. The page displays updates as they are published, including degraded performance and outages.
